Guest guest
I don't know how much of a difference such a small amount of pork will make, but here's what you do to be completely safe: Open the capsules and put the powder in half a glass of lukewarm water (no hotter than body temperature), stir and leave it in peace for 10 - 15 min before you drink. This will " wake up " the bacteria, and make them stronger (as their encounter with the stomach acid will be most unpleasant for them). This should give you a better effect of your probiotics, and no pork! (Make sure you do not use chlorinated water, as that will kill them) > > > > Hi, > > > > before being aware of the risk of taking dairy, i always had whey > > protein, as i weight train 3x a week. > > > > Is it ok to replace the dairy 'whey protein' for 'pea protein' here > is > > what im looking at: http://www.bulkpowders.co.uk/product.php? > > xProd=193 & xSec=18 > > > > Also im going to purchase some probiotics in capsule form, due to > the > > dairy in the yogurt drinks, but how much probiotic do i need per > > capsule? ive found this one, with " extra 10 billion probiotics " : > > http://www.zipvit.co.uk/cgi-bin/search.cgi? > > shopingpage & cartnumber=33294z & currency=Pounds% > > 20Sterling & swords=Acidophilus = Acidophilus Extra 10 Billion > > > > thanks > > adam > > >
Guest guest
There are vegetarian probiotics available out there in veggie capsules, no pork included. I know Metagenics has a dairy free probiotic mix. Or you can get veggie capsules at a health food store and pour the mix into them yourself. Guest guest
Marshiris, No, im asking whether i can REPLACE the whey protein powder im taking, with pea protein? whey should be avoided. however i still have oats, as on the ingrediants it does have whey/glutin, barley or rye > > ADAM - are you saying that we, who are using LDN for auto-immune diseases, > and are sensitive to gluten wheat, barley, oats, rye, and other grains - can > ingest whey protein without any of the problems that we get from them? is > there anything, such as whey milk? > > _marshiris@..._ (mailto:marshiris@...) > > crohn's disease - 17 years > LDN - JUNE, 2007 > > > > **************Start the year off right.
