Guest guest
Dwan, I hope that's a typo. TOP dose of LDN for MS is 4.5 mg per day.. Yvette. MS on LDN 3 months wonderful results! He says to take 1 1.5 mg/day for 3 weeks, then 2/day until April, when we talk again. "
Guest guest
That is great news Dwan, Two things I would like to mention. If you can write down how you are doing now and what symptoms you have, and then write down all of the things you experience while on LDN, that would be helpful. Also, have you had any MRI's? If so would it be possible to keep your most recent ones and then have another one within 6 months to a year and save the reports (and or the slides themselves)? We are trying to gather the MRI info for before and after starting LDN and see if it shows a reduction in activity. All my best and Good luck Aletha [low dose naltrexone] LDN on the way! Well, I consulted with a dr today and he prescribed for me 1.5 mg of LDN, which I ordered today from a Georgia compounding pharmacy (100 doses). He says to take 1 1.5 mg/day for 3 weeks, then 2/day until April, when we talk again.I'm looking forward to getting great results for my MS!Best,Dwan
Guest guest
Hi Dwan, For people with MS, because LDN often initially causes a worsening of symptoms, Dr. Skip Lenz recommends a nightly dose of 1.5 mg the first month, 3 mg the next month, and 4.5 mg thereafter. This site gives more detailed reasoning for the stepwise dosage increase: http://tinyurl.com/yosnk5 Sincerely, Dudley Delany dudley_delany Re: [low dose naltrexone] LDN on the way! Guest guest
Aletha, I will keep a journal of my LDN experience. And thanks for reminding me about my MRIs! The doc who prescribed the LDN for me wants an MRI report. And I am interested in my MRIs 6 months (and later) after I start LDN.
