Guest guest
Hello Everyone, Several weeks ago I posted a progress report about my 88 year old dad with multiple myeloma and my chronic fatigue syndrome after one year on LDN. As I told of our good news, I also mentioned the need to get this very important information beyond the internet and word of mouth, and compile/write a "book" that would contain information from the LDN web site, as well as personal testimonials from those of us who are in this group using LDN and have shown improvement. While I have heard from many of you and contacted some of you directly, I want to re-extend the invitation to participate and be a part of this project. Some of you have raised issues concerning confidentiality of your identity. I respect that, and in reviewing the LDN web site, I have noted that the only identification used is the person's first initial, his/her age, diagnosis, and their results with LDN. I believe our testimonials should follow the same format, and wanted to post this format for the book to one and all, just in case anyone might have reservations about submitting a testimonial due to confidentiality issues. I am working in conjunction with the LDN web site editor, and at this time I anticipate this grass roots effort will culminate in a self published (perhaps in 3 ring binder format) book. One of my reasons for leaning towards this format is because the LDN project is a work in progress. It is simply wonderful that there will be clinical trials on LDN for Chrohn's Disease. But our work will not be done until the good news about LDN continues spreading, to the general public, to the medical community, and hopefully, the spread of this knowledge will bring more clinical trials of LDN so it may become recognized standard treatments for MS, cancer, chronic fatigue, and many other illnesses it has been shown to effectuate improvements. As news on more clinical trials may emerge, the three ring binder will allow for more chapters to be written, ordered and sent to those who purchased the original book. If anyone out there has a better idea for how to format this book, I am open to hearing your ideas. While I haven't discussed this with the web site editor, or any of you prior to now, any monetary gain from the sale of this book in my opinion should be set aside in a special fund for the clinical trials that are so much needed. That way, this project could accomplish two major goals. First, educate the public and second, raise money for clinical trials. I have enjoyed hearing from so many of you, and I hope if you haven't already done so, please send me your testimonial along with written authority to put it in print. I realize the Holiday Season is upon us, but I am hoping to have my first "draft" ready for review by January 1, 2004. Thank you everyone, for all your help. I will be leaving beautiful Maui tomorrow, and will be back in Virginia on Tuesday, 11/25. So to one and all, Happy Thanksgiving, and God Bless.
