Guest guest
McCandless, MD, had a pharmacist develop the transdermal cream that includes Emu oil for penetration through the skin. That pharmacist will share the recipe with any pahrmacist that asks. Pharmacists only. Dr Skip Lenz, pharmacist at www.skipspharmcy.com has the formula for transdermal LDN. This is also a prescription item so your doc needs to specificy LDN in transdermal formulation. Hope this helps, mjh Posted by: "ckwhitmoyer" ckwhitmoyer@... ckwhitmoyer Mon Jan 21, 2008 12:13 pm (PST) Hi!I'm new to the group but am interested in reading about the cream!Thanx,Start the year off right. Guest guest
That would be up to the prescribing doctor to determine the starting dose. On the Autism_LDN list, Dr McCandless seems to start kids on less than one mg and slowly work upwards. Hope this helps mjh Posted by: "darcietwo" lnr2@... darcietwo Tue Jan 22, 2008 8:22 am (PST) -my question would be about how the correct amount would be applied?>LornaStart the year off right. The pharmacy would have to tell you how many lines is what amount.
Guest guest
LORNA - as one who uses LDN TRANSDERMAL CREAM - yes, it does come in syringes without the needles, and they are scored, as to the measurements! it is very easily applied, as you use the plunger to push/ease out the desired amount. each syringe will last about 6 days, if using 4.5 mgs. each night!! you will get 5 syringes for the month!! marshiris@... crohn's disease - 17 years LDN - JUNE, 2007Start the year off right. Guest guest
, I take the LDN transdermal cream with EMU oil. The same stuff they are using on autistic children in trials now. I get a stomach upst with 3.0 mg ldn compound whether the filler is lactose or avicel, so I went to the transdermal. I was on the compound 1/2 years and now the transdermal 6 months. I never did did get any symptom improvement on LDN, and my MS on mri continued to get worse and my legs get weaker by the month, but I still take it. You never know, I might be worse without it. keith
