I just read your before and after LDN story. Your before story

sounds so much like my sister in law's. She is on day 4 of LDN and

has gotten no results, in fact she has gotten an increase in

symptoms. I have read this is becuase she has recently taken codeine

painkillers and this often enhances symptoms at first. She is also

on a 3 mg dose.

My question to you is this: have your vision and hearing improved or

are they still they same. Also, are you no longer in any pain?

Marcia has had numerous bouts of otpic neuritis and her vision has

gotten extremely poor. She also suffers from the type of leg pain

you describe.

Thanks for any further info you can provide.

Debbie

My pain only shows up when I strain too much. Bending over too long or using a

weakened limb for too long before giving it a rest. My hearing is still the

same as before starting LDN. My vision is better in some ways. Not getting the

blurriness except during that female time of the month. Double vision has

diminished. And I'm no longer seeing the lights flicker since the LDN has

curtailed my migraines.

I have also heard the problem you mentioned of the opioid narcotic use before

starting LDN can result in a person not responding well to LDN. It takes much

longer for LDN to work for people who have used an opioid for a good spell.

Have her hang in there and ride out those increased symptoms. After about 3

months, have her up her dose to 4.5mg. Keep us posted on your sister-in-law.
