Guest guest
I started 10 days ago taking 4.5 mg, but changed to 3 six days ago due to increased spasticity. I've felt much better until this morning, when my right leg went into a terrible spasm. Both legs have been burning all day. 1. Has anyone else experienced an exacerbation of symptoms while getting used to the lower dose or LDN in general? If so, how long is considered " normal? " 2. Any suggestions for relieving the spasms during and any preventative suggestions? 3. And finally, last night I took the LDN at midnight, instead of the usual 9:30. Could that make a difference? Thank you.
Guest guest
Reg A while ago you said you take something for spasticity. I didn't keep that info. Could you please tell me what that was again. Thanks
Guest guest
It was DLPhenylalanine but to be honest I couldn't take it long as my blood pressure went thru the roof. Now I am taking Benfotiamine but after a month on it I have seen no results. However my B.P. is better, but I still have major spasms at times, especially after not moving from my puter fer a while and then standing. Guest guest
In my own LDN experiment, I found that the drug made no effect on spasticity; but it did help me sleep better, so that I had a more restful sleep -- but this is the only possible benefit to LDN I've noticed. I therefore went ahead and had a Baclofen pump installed 2 weeks ago, to help get my spasms under control, which is helping a lot. I encourage you to ask your GP if a local spasticity clinic is available nearby where you might also find similar relief, if you need it?
