Hi everyone,

Thank you so much for all the great info you share. I've learned so

much from being in this group and have passed on a lot of links to

friends with cancer and MS.

I have been on LDN for 8 weeks now and thought I would give you a

progress report.

Condition: Inflammatory arthritis (sero-negative rheumatoid) since 1992.

Medications taken recently: Celebrex, Plaquenil, Tylenol and supplements

Medications taken now: none except LDN and supplements

Pre-LDN pain assessment (on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being worst):

Right knee - 5 during day, 9 or 10 at night

Right hip - 6

Wrists - 7

Hands - 6

Elbows - 4

8 weeks out pain assessment:

Right knee - 1/2 or 0

Right hip - 1 or less

Wrists - 5

Hands - 3

Elbows - 1

Interestingly enough, the right knee and hip were relatively recent

additions to my pain and inflammation picture (say several months),

and seem to have resolved first. The hands and wrists are

longstanding problems of many years and will probably take much longer

to get over.

Observations: Last night I went to Cirque du Soleil with my family

and realized I was not shifting my weight every few minutes to take

pressure off my hip. In fact, I sat still through most of the

evening. I can't remember the last time I sat still at any kind of

performance for more than 5 minutes.

Mind you, I'm only at 3.0 at this point. I intend to begin 4.5 this

weekend.

I could not be more grateful and excited about this treatment and my

progress. A few months ago my symptoms were getting worse and worse,

and it was getting very scary. I was looking at increasing discomfort

and the prospect of stronger medications with more side effects. Now

I'm feeling so hopeful about the future - and I know I'm not damaging

my body with drugs that will ultimately harm me in other ways.

What more is there to say? LDN is a miracle.

Judy
