Guest guest
sparklehits/brenda - the best thing for crohnies to use, due to mal-absorption syndrome is to use the LDN TRANSDERMAL CREAM developed by Dr. Jacquelyn McCandless. she can be reached at - jmccandless@... you will not have to worry with fillers or measurements with the cream; it is already pre-measured!! marshiris@... crohn's disease - 17 years LDN - JUNE, 2007Start the year off right. Guest guest
Hi , I have Crohns and I use LDN in pillform. But lately I have heard that transdermal form could be absorbed better. It would work better for the guts. Well, I am not sure if I have got it right. What a nightmare having both MS and Crohns, both are such severe diseases! May I suggest that you so absolutely should follow Dr. MCCandless advice by using gluten free wheat, no diary and no soy. It's smart to reduce sugar to an absolutely minimum. It's not hard to buy or bake your own gluten free bread. But be careful, wheat is almost in all food that is partly or all processed, so you need to eat clean food and buy fresh meat, poultry and fish. A lot of good recepies online how to make good, clean food. Due to milk: no milkproducts at all, not yogurt, no cheese, no icecream. I am quite sure this will help in combination with LDN. Good luck in starting a better life, please stay in touch! :-) Ingrid [low dose naltrexone] ldn ques about ms and chronesI have ms and chrones, when one has chrones they do not absorb properly what can i take to make sure the lkdn absorbs properly ? any advice would b e a great help

Guest guest
I have Crohn's also and was able to control my symptoms quite effectively using 2000mg of Ginger and Turmeric daily. I also took Krill oil at the recommended dose. I now use LDN and take half as much Ginger and Turmeric, same amount of Krill Oil. The reason I bring it up is because Ginger helps absorb other substances. It also is anti-inflammatory as are the other supplements I listed. Since you are trying to get better absorption anyway, you may as well help your Crohn's in the process with the Ginger capsules. Take them with meals and any vitamins you may take. Also taker some with your dose of LDN. If you take prescription blood thinners ask your doctor before taking large amounts of Ginger or Turmeric as it may interact and thin the blood too much. Also check for interactions with other medications. http://www.umm.edu/altmed/articles/ginger-000246.htm#Overview Good Luck D Bergy > > I have ms and chrones, when one has chrones they do not absorb properly > what can i take to make sure the lkdn absorbs properly ? any advice > would b e a great help > > >
