The only sign my son had was a distended belly and he had very rarely formed stools. Abid, the best is to go see a ped. GI, they usually can tell just by examining the child, then they order an abdominal x-ray to confirm the dx (it shows the stools backed up and also that the GI duct is overly dilated). > > What is stool impaction and how do I test for this?
