why not use stimulants that induce release of endorphins

Hi all, new to the board. According to the theory of Dr Bihari (sp?)

the way low doses of naltrexone work is by tricking the body into

producing more endorphins by temporarily blocking the opioid

receptors, this in turn has a positive effect on the immune system. If

this is true why not taking medication that increase endorphins

production would work as well? (i.e. amphetamine salts)
