Guest guest
I think we touched on this a few posts back. Someone else asked about kids walking down the stairs using one leg only, as a toddler would do. I am wondering about this too now. My 3.5 year old, we never really noticed this until we took him to the carnival and he was going down the steps using his one foot only. The other kids his age were running one foot then the next foot (as adults do). It was pretty obvious when you saw him doing this next to other kids who don't do it. He does have some problems with sensory, and delayed fine motor. They said trouble integrating the right and left sides of his body. So would that be why? I have no plans to " bother " my child about this but am curious if he should still be doing this. I don't recall my other one doing this at that age.
