Guest guest
The standard for dmsa is 1/4 mg per lb of kid, to start. We just take a capsule of 100 mgs divide it as evenly as we can, we use 14 mgs now, so on 7 posted notes, add some Vitamin C, and put in empty capsules. Others add the dmsa to liquid, but I don't know how to do that. With the A, it depends on what you are using it for, just maintanace would be 5000 IU per day for a 9 year old, if you are uncomfortable with the higher dosing. [ ] Vit A, DMSA questions I was reading through the files and the supplements file and it says " 5 RDAs of Vitamin A " - does that really mean 17,500 IU for a 9 year old? Just seems like a lot when they are always warning against too much Vit A in pregnancy... Second, when you dose DMSA, how do you divide it? Someone here was saying something like, she does fine on 18mg but not 25. Since I'll I've seen are 100mg capsules and up, how would you know it was 18 and not 25? Do you just divide the capsule as best you can into as many as you need to? Thanks! Stroyan www.empathic-discipline.com Click here to email me directly: <mailto:lstroyan@...>lstroyan@... You can get DMSA in 25 and 100 mg caps from vrp. I just twist the cap open and divide it into empty capsules -- when I started out I was giving 6 mgs of DMSA from a 100 mg cap, so it took forever. If you flick them and hold them up to the light yu can get them quite even though. Nell

I gave my son much more than that, until I eliminated the measles virus in his body. Here is high dose vitamin A protocol for measles virus http://www.danasview.net/vitamina.htm Dana
