I have heard that amantadine is being used in part for Parkinsons therapy.

It affects at least dopamine. I know very little about the biochemistry of

autism, but this certainly affects neurotransmitters. There is at least one

doctor who is using it in a small scale in kids with Down syndrome and

seeing big improvements in gross motor skills.

Sally,

I take amantadine for fatigue. Since I have high blood pressure, I cannot take Provigial. There are no side effects but I only take 1 pill in the morning. Does it help? Not sure, did not notice a difference in my fatigue until I started LDN.

Hi Joan,

Now that I have read more and heard more about Provigil, I don't

necessarily think that it's a good thing for msers. I am not going

to take it. I take amantadine too....not for the fatigue, but to

ward off the flu....it's an anti-viral you know. Never did a lot

for my fatigue, but does help to keep colds and flu at bay.

Love, Sally
