Start with 1 capsule a day of the Thorne product, or 1/4 of the Allergy Research Group product, and work up for adequate response. Increase every few days. Licorice depends a lot on the product. Anything with solid licorice in it works, which includes a lot of candies. Read the label whether it is solid licorice (maybe extract) or just licorice extract or licorice flavoring which is not adequate. Goodnplenty actually works but has tons of junk in it. Including red #40. 's organics licorice candies, avaialble in many health food stores, also work well. Or you can find licorice supplements or " adrenal support " supplements wiht assorted herbs, generally heavy on the licorice. Chemically sensitive people may not do well with licorice. > I haven't read your book, but ordered it today. I see it has a > section on what to do after improper chelation. Out of control is a better phrase. Or gullible. They think that just because some other doctor told them it was safe it is going to be safe to play with giving dangerous chemicals to human beings. The doc does not have to be a " chelation expert " to help you, they just have to be open minded about chelation and pay attention to the stuff they DO know. > I am in Texas and we are > currently using Dr. Rao in Plano. Do you know much about > Cave? Does she believe in the IV or high dose chelation? Last I heard Dr. Cave does inappropriate high dose chelation. Her licensing board persecuted her (due to her writing the vaccine book) and has painted her into a corner where she has to insist on people using 10 mg/kg every 8 hours to stay out of trouble with them. Very unfortunate. You can check with her office how she prescribes it nowadays if you want to be sure. The biggest mistake people make is look for a " name " doctor. What you really want to look for is one who works WITH you rather than tells you all the answers and is open minded about things. > I myself have way too many amalgams and think this is part of my > son's toxicity when I was pregnant with him.
