We decided NEVER to stop researching for something that can/will work. The neuro put her on Avenex and every week was a small hell for her. After 2 months we read about Bovine Colostrum and decided to try it. 2 Months later my wife went for a MRI and they called her back for a 2nd one to verify leasions that disappeared in the lower back. The neuro told her to continue with whatever she is doing (not interesting in details). We were so excited about it that we just have to share it with someone who would "understand" I signed up to a MS chatroom and tried to tell our story and success. What a dissapointment. They only wanted to chat about their kids, grand kids and how bad they felt that day. I tried 3 more nights and then came to the conclusion that those people like what they have and as a bonus a lot of attention and simpathy from their friends and family. (sorry - this sound very rude) I never signed on to that chatroom again. In the meantime my wife made some good friends with two other ladies with MS and introduced them to the Colostrum (with wonderful results). About a 3 months ago we heard about LDN and again my wife and friends started on it and they are doing wonderful. Her one friend (in a wheelchair) can already stand up for a few minutes and she also can dress herself again.I agree that whatever treatment you choose - it is your disission and nobody have the right to shoot you off, BUT if we have something other than the ABC's and the results are good - tell everybody about it for crying out loud!!With all the people who have good impressive results on LDN I definitly don't need a team of people who dish out plasebo's in a study with 100 people or more and ONLY THEN ok it for myself if it is approved by the FDA. By that time my wife could also have been in a wheelchair.Again - we will never never ever stop researching and trying alternatives - BUT it is still your choise what you want to do with your life and situation.
