Guest guest
There is actually an inverse relationship between calcium on the hair test and indications for supplementation. For high hair calcium, the recommendation is to give more. You really need the Hair Test Interpretations by Andy Cutler to get all the subtle nuances in the hair test. You should be able to google the book and get a place to purchase it. Good luck, [ ] Question about supplementation How reliable is the hair test as an indicator of what to supplement with? For instance, if my daughter is off the charts in red on calcium for example, should I NOT supplement with that? Thanks, Terri

Guest guest
I don't think iodine is a good indicator of body burden on the hair test, or you can't tell from the value on the hair test what is in the body. Moly, I think, but check, does not have an inverse relationship or is not to be supplemented if in the red. Happy reading! High results can mean either there is toxicity, or there is deficiency because the body is wasting it. As indicated, high calcium would probably mean wasting. You might try giving a calcium supplement, and give it along with magnesium and vitamin D, so it can be absorbed. Dana
