Guest guest
When I think of a toilet trained person whom has begun having more accidents lately i would look at a few things. Is there something going on somewhere where he has had some kind of trauma? Also urinary infections. kidney reflux. Undiagnosed things like behavioral disorders, adhd. Sleep apnea. Things like that. He appeared to be toilet trained by about three years of age with the occational accident. When he does wet his pants he doesn't seem to be upset about it and would just as soon continue on with his activities wet. The " accidents " seem to be happening more frequently lately. His daycare provider believes he is in complete control and reports that he has become sassy to her when she addresses the behavior. The day care provider has " had enough. " My co-worker has tried sticker charts and tangible reinforcers. What could be possible medical issues? Where should she go from here? Yeast die off can cause wetting accidents. Has the child been eating a lot of sugars or carbs recently? Dana
