Guest guest
I was taking enteric coated garlic supplementsbut my problems (I'm unsure of the specific nature of them) stayed around. Just on a hunch I removed the garlic and things have been getting better.
Guest guest
My dh got an upset stomach and he didn't know why but I figured out it was from his garlic supplements. So I said to him, " Just take a clove of raw garlic and eat it, if you want some garlic. " And that worked just fine. He didn't get an upset stomach anymore, and I'm sure the garlic he ate helped him in some way. -- > > I was taking enteric coated garlic supplementsbut my problems (I'm > unsure of the specific nature of them) stayed around. Guest guest
I'm thinking that garlic is high in sulfur, and some people, like my son, can't tolerate foods high in sulfur. Debbie
Guest guest
I have read that some people have problems with the garlic/onion family of foods. My daughter cannot tolerate them, even with enzymes. I don't know the reason. > > I was taking enteric coated garlic supplementsbut my problems (I'm > unsure of the specific nature of them) stayed around. Guest guest
garlic is a high sulfur food, and if you are high sulfur you can have a problem. My son does. crystal svallo44024 <frankvallo@...> wrote: I have read that some people have problems with the garlic/onion family of foods. My daughter cannot tolerate them, even with enzymes. Guest guest
I'm allergic to chives and asparagus, which are both in the same family, and have slight problems with green onions, but garlic and regular white onions are usually OK. Funny. Just proves you can be allergic to almost anything.
