His son (just passed the boards) was much more receptive. The braces analogy is very good. The older ped wasn't even interested in seeing thehlemet after we got it. He simply just looked down his nose at me!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh well. I am sure it won't be the last time we disagree about something. Remember, you know your child the best.
