We actually saw a plastic surgeon first because we had to wait too long for the neurosurgeon. The neurosurgeon we saw was like,"all we do is surgery, I'm not really sure why they refer you to us". I guess if your child is a candidate for surgery the neurosurgeon may be one of your choices. They may also be able to tell you if the sutures are closed and may be able to prescribe the helmet. Look in the files section (I believe it is the files section) for questions to ask, etc.

we saw a craniofacial plastic surgeon/neurosurgeon. If you go to a

craniofacial clinic at a hospital, there will likely be other doctors to

talk to if the first says " it's not what he does " . If this is his

answer, ask him if he can refer you to someone else.

Take a few articles with you, including the Q & A sheet from the Cranial

Tech site (explain to him that you realize that Cranial Tech is a

profiting company but that you have spoken with dozens of parents - us!

- that agree with what is said there). Ask him to SIT down and talk to

you. Write down any questions you think you might like to ask, and

write down the answers.

Have you read the Q & A in our " files " section?

Good luck Wednesday, and keep us posted!
