Guest guest
I have wondered for awhile how many babies that have plagio & /or torticollis also have been diagnosed with reflux? I had joined the Tort board when Abigail was first diagnosed with plagio,I thought she also had tort, she only would look one way. On that board I met a mom that also thought that there could be some sort of link.Since the doctors told me she does not have tort I unsubscribed to that board.I still think that she may have tort though she has trouble looking to the left and has had trouble with that since birth. I know it has nothing to do with each other really but just interested in how many of you have a child with both.Any thoughts on this would be appreciated! Amy & Abigail Amy - 70% of tort have plagio, from what I have reed. If you think tort, get a pt evaluation and don't let it go at that. Boy if I have listen to my first ped, well I hate to think what our situation would be like today. Ask for one with experience. If you have problems getting a referral for an evaluation, call the early intervention program. Tammy & 12/8/99 My guy never diagnosed with reflux but was a major spitter. Was told since he was thriving, extremely well I might add, it wasn't reflux. Go figure! It did stop around 10 months like they said it would too. STRANGE?
