dental visits for the orally defensive among us

My 4-year old will not let anyone or anything near or in her mouth.

She has never brushed her teeth..yikes. She may play with an motorized

toothbrush on the front teeth but god knows what's lurking in the

great beyond of that cute overbite.

How do you mums manage a dentist visit? is there sedative involved? is

it safe? (I heard a child died from the anesthesia once)

All advice is most welcome. My little miss has the breath of a troll

and something will need to be done soon...double yikes!
