Guest guest
I got them from Houston Nutraceuticals...heard they existed on this board, so I called them even though I had a terrible time finding them on their website (they are there, maybe in the product list just before ordering, but hard to find). They sent them out and they got here in two days. They contain Microencapsulated Children's Acidophilus, proprietary probiotic blend yielding 1 billion viable cells, 10 mg...Lactobacilli acidophilus, Lactobacilli rhamnosus, and Bifidobacterium longum. They also contain sorbitol, xylitol, maltodextrin, stearic acid, palmitic acid, natural grape flavor, microcrystaline cellulose, citic acid, magnesium stearate, ascorbic acid (as a preservative) and natural color. Contains no added wheat, salt, yeast, soy, preservatives, artificial colors or flavors. " Institut Rossell of Montreal, Canada, a world leader in probiotics, manufactures our Children's Acidophilus through a proprietary process that ensures the survivability of the cells at room temperature. Therefore, this product does not require refrigeration. Product of Canada, formulated for Houston Nutraceuticals, Inc. It doesn't say, and I wouldn't suggest that this product is necessarily CF, but probably at least as safe as yogurt. Maybe if you are CF, should give with AFP Protease. Maltodextrin is OK usually on GF diets. He liked it OK but then I gave it to him as a reward for finishing Jellyfish Fields, 25 levels....I have no idea how this kid is able to complete these adult computer games from Nick.com but I don't think it is hurting his brain/eye coordination or even visual vestibular issues any. That's what I did with his dad when he had serious dysgraphia--got him Nintendo. Peace, Kathy E. > > > > I got the grape-flavored children's probiotic and tried one with > Ben today as a reward for > > finishing Jellyfish Fields on his favorite computer game...he > seemed to like it, and better yet, > > there were no obvious negative behavioral or gut consequences that > I could see.
