Many of the kids with viral loads (ie underlying viral issues) appear much

better when they are sick. Dr. McCandless talks about this in 'Children

With Starving Brains' and there are many parents out there trying to impact

virus problems with Virastop or Valtrex or other therapies.

The chronic low temp can mean thyroid problem.

Hi I am new to this group and I am about to embark on the enzymes

after reading Enzymes and Autism. We have experienced a big change in

his behaviour and happiness over the last 3 - 4 weeks after he was ill

with a virus going around and had a very high temperature for 3-4

days. We have noticed in the past that after he has been ill with a

high temperature he has a lovely period afterwards and this time the

difference has been great!

This is a common experience for kids with systemic virus issues.

Consider giving anti-virals. My son does will with ViraStop enzyme,

OLE, and Lauricidin.

behavior?

---I think the fever raises the body temperature which kills off a

lot of the bad bacteria and other things whose toxins cause autistic

behavior. I read that doctors treating autistic children in

hospitals have noticed whenever there's a disease going around that

causes fever, the autistic behaviors of the children seem to

disappear when fever comes and for a short time afterward. The whole

point of the fever is to kill invading pathogens right? I'm pretty

sure that part of the reason why saunas are an effective treatment

for AS people is b/c they raise the body temperature and mimick what

a fever does.

A fever is the body's natural way of helping eliminate a virus issue.

So if the child improves when he has a fever, he probably has virus

issues that are latent, and the fever helps reduce the virus load,

altho it does not eliminate the virus. Consider adding immune

boosters and/or anti-virals.
