Guest guest
I did read something that was talking about the different onsets, manifestations of autism. It mentioned that some kiddos who have earlier onset may have more casein sensitivity and would be exposed due to breastmilk (or formula). It is interesting because my NT son had extreme dairy sensitivy to breastmilk that contained milk (I couldn't have any pure dairy for 6 months) but my daughter had no immune response - so I thought I was in the clear. In reality I think her immune system sucked and she just wasn't protecting herself from it. Of course, she has a dx now and loved milk when she weaned. And had casein peptides on test. -- In , carolyn wahrenberger <3carolyn@...> wrote: > > Does anyone know if the mother is lactose or gluten intolerant if the > undigested peptides can pass into breastmilk? > Carolyn >
Guest guest
I assumed they were and so took enzymes while pregnant and nursing my daughter. No problems with colic whatsoever. Of course she isn't vaccinated either, so I can't say for certain what to attribute the difference to. To be completely fair, she might never have had colic, period, no matter what I did. I am however very grateful for the enzymes I took and did notice differences in on those days that I missed taking enzymes. Peptides in Breastmilk Does anyone know if the mother is lactose or gluten intolerant if the undigested peptides can pass into breastmilk? Guest guest
Theoretically yes. Several of us took digestive enzymes for pregnancy and nursing and have seen significant difference in baby's health and digestion.
