About 2 hours. > How far apart should you give GSE or OoO, and Nystatin?? You probably don't need to space those at all. They all address yeast issues, some also address bacteria issues. I don't know of problems giving them close together except perhaps excessive die off. > And, how far apart should you give your GSE or OoO, and your probiotic? I give GSE together with probiotic. If that concerns you, give them about 2 hours apart. > One more- how far apart should you give Nystatin and pro-biotic from > each other?? I am unaware that Nystatin will kill good bacteria. > Last question, how often should you rotate pro-biotics? Many parents report benefits from rotating probiotics. I usually read about 4-day rotations. > I've been giving kirkman pro-bio gold for over a month now, when > should I get another brand, how often do I rotate them and can you > recommend a good brand to go with it? The only probiotic my son has tolerated in the long term is Natural Factors, which contains milk. > Can you give me your opinion on garlic, and what kind to use, and how > to give it?? Raw garlic is good for yeast and bad bacteria issues. Dana
Guest guest
Hi Dana, If I gave my son a food yesterday that he didn't tolerate, would the reaction look like this?; A restless sleep, disoriented when he woke up, and runny poop the next day? The last 2 days, his new food has been carrots. I re-introduced almond flour to him this morning- I know almonds are high phenols. His cheeks are pink right now. I did give him no-fenol enzyme before he ate. Would the pink cheeks be enough of an indicator that he is reacting to the almonds and not give them to him again, or should I try them on him again? My DAN! Dr. said that red cheeks aren't enough of a reaction to stop feeding him that food, please tell me your opinion on this. Also, if he is having a reaction to the phenols in the food, and the no-fenol enzyme isn't enough, is there something else you can give for phenol intolerence?? Thanks, again, Dana. Amber. Guest guest
Hi Dana, Thanks for responding. Sammie does not drink milk, eat bananas or rice. She does eat apples. However, she had this problem long before she started eating apples. I am going to keep going up on the magnesium and try to avoid suppositories for a while because the DAN doctor has been having us do them for so long that I am afraid she is used to them. The Zyme Prime is the SCD version, so no papain/bromalein. She is still on Prevacid and I have always wondered if that causes her constipation and/or makes her stomach hurt. We are thinking of trying to take her off that. Do you know anything about that? Thanks, Digest Number 4398
