Guest guest
We started our 5 year old son on a new supplement regimen, prescribed be a DAN doc we just started working with late summer and now he has gone from waking in the night a few times a month to a few times a week. I've talked with the nurse at the clinic, but she keeps telling me that what they have prescribed should not cause night waking. Here's what we've started him on in the past couple of months - 5HTP, DMG, Coenzyme Q10, Calcium, Magnesium, Zinc & Manganese Minieral Waters, Buffered C Powder & DHA Junior along with a bunch of homeopathics. I would greatly appreciate any input experienced parents would have with these supplements and night waking - I need to get some sleep!! Thanks, Jenn Pedersen Mom to Isabella-8, typcial, Luke-7, deaf, Seth-5, ASD & hearing loss
Guest guest
5HTP, > DMG, DMG can cause sleep issues, especially if not given with B12 and folic acid. >> Coenzyme Q10, Calcium, Calcium can cause sleep issues if given later in the day. Drop all the supplements, wait a few days, then start them again one at a time, see which one/s are causing the problem. Dana
