Guest guest
I don't know of any antibiotic that's better than another, but I would suggest giving ample probiotics after the surgery to help replenish the good stuff that was killed off along with the bad stuff. Antibiotics??dental work Hi all, My son has a port-a-cath in his chest (for his IVIG treatments) and whenever he has dental work, we have to give him antibiotics. (People with heart murmurs and that sort of thing have to take them too...something about infection entering through gum and going to heart??) I do not know what would be best since we have spent so much time and effort to get his yeast under control. What sort of antibiotic should I " suggest " to the dentist? I think they usually give him penicillin. He takes one huge dose and that is all. I welcome any advice! Thanks! Leann
