Guest guest
Hi : Thanks for your reply. When I initially read that your son was taking 18 a day, I thought...how on earth did she do that? OK, here is what I am giving our son, maybe this will help? For yeast (only natural for now): I give this equally in the morning and evening: 2 candidase enzymes, 1 threelac, 1 culturelle, dioxychlor drops, liver life drops, GSE and advanced biocidin. Antioxidants I give 2 times a day include: Vit A, vit C, vit E, selenium drops, grapeseed extract, pycnogenol. Minerals: Chelate mate 2x a day. Zinc and molybdenum in the morning, calcium and magnesium in the evening. I also give Pro-EFA fish oil 2x a day. I definitely think the yeast has been kicked up, but I certainly didnt expect the behavioral regression we got from one capsule. Weird? For now, I am discontinuing the virastop, but will keep giving the OLE. I cant take it anymore. Thanks again for helping...Kim > > > > Hello and everyone: Hopefully, this will be quick. Guest guest
Kim The same thing as you described in your original post happened with my daughter on Virastop. Like you said, just 1 capsule sent her into a behavioral tailspin! I have tried it again several times and got the same reactions. I haven't really determined if it is because her viral issues are that bad (I know she has viral issues), or if she just does not tolerate the VS itself. But she does very well on the OLE. I will continue the OLE and maybe after she has been on that much longer the VS will be better tolerated. Just wanted you to know you aren't the only one to see such a strong reaction to the VS. (I'm certainly no expert though) I think I forgot to say ds is taking biotin also for yeast. Anyway its possible your son just doesn't tolerate the VS right now. I know the 18 vs sounds like a lot! We started with one just like you though and have been increasing slowly. You know this wasn't the first time my son had ever taken VS or Colostrum though. He'd been taking those on and off (mostly when he'd get sick) for about 2 yrs. Maybe we'd addressed some virus issues and built up his tolerance so to speak. And some kids are just way more sensitive than others. Ds used to be more sensitive to supplements but the rounds of chelation we've done has seemed to have helped that. I think keeping the OLE sounds like a good idea. Maybe try again later.

My son was on OLE for a year before I added Virastop, and I have had no problems with Virastop, so maybe your child is just a high virus child.
