Guest guest
Hi There! I was reading your post and it sure sounded alot like my house...ugh it is so awful when the guys are sick....they are worse than the kids!!! lol My name is Ronni and hubby is Mike. There are a couple things that might help... First off you have probably heard that most herbs and spices are high phenol....and that CFS is an adult issue with phenols...I am not sure but have heard that Pau D'arco is a tough one anyway and that it is high phenol. So that could be one thing. Another is what kind of Houston is he taking. Is he taking the one with bromelain and papain....if so that could be the issue....sometimes allergies or intolerances take a bit to show up...at least for us that is true.....also how much is he taking....I had to drop Mike's way way back....worse than the kids...like down to an 1/8 or 16th of a dose...I use the powder... My husband just is not doing well. I had him on Virastop, four per day, since about Jan 25th. His chronic fatigue was improving. I started HNI Zyme Prime and Peptizyde also about a week ago. He got bad diharrea, but he was still ok. Then two days ago he just had to have some chicken (Pilgrim's Pride). In the past when he's eaten it it has always caused problems sooner or later--usually vomiting. This time, he ate two pieces for lunch and then after dinner I gave him his enzymes and also a Pau d' Arco with cloves capsule (cloves are really high in phenols...and are not an easy spice to digest..it is a favorite smell of mine...so I found out from experience..)that I wanted him to try. Right after that he threw up, and he hasn't been feeling well since. He's like he was a month ago before I started treating him. He is tired, his stomach hurts, and he has this shaky, pulsating feeling in his chest--the same feeling that bothered him and kept him awake at night for months. When I had started the Virastop, about one week into it, the shaky feeling spread to his shoulder, and he also had eyeball twitches. A few days after that, all the twitching and " chest shaking " stopped and didn't come back again until he threw up two days ago. When he threw up two days ago, I took him off of everything. Then today at lunch, I tried giving him a very undersized dose of Zyme Prime. A few minutes later he said it was making his stomach hurt.Could he also be having a yeast issue??? I am not sure but I think I might be tempted to go with the no-fenol instead of the zyme...what kind of allergy problems is he having?? I think I try to talk him...I said try....lol....not into eating any allergy foods for some time...maybe 6 months....and try getting the no fenol in him in small doses...that will help with the CFS issues..and then when you get him worked up...start adding the others little bits at a time...like 1/8 or so per dose once a day at first..then twice then with all meals and snacks....and after you get some of them on start on a yeast program. We have had a lot of the same issues and we are working on them little by little....hubby is getting the last of his amalgams removed and replaced tomorrow...so that is a good thing...can start to work on the metals...have you had his hair tested? Mike is just full of metals...so we are working on getting him ready for chelation... What other supps are you giving him? Could he be also intolerant to some? We had to adjust Mikes a couple times to get them where he wasn't sick all the time... Just things I know from my hubby....If I can help or you want to visit feel free to email...I sure understand what you are talking about...also have you checked into mb-12....that sometimes helps the fatigue alot...they have ones you put under your tongue and let disolve.....we did the shots for a while....that helped alot...for the rest of us.... hope this helps and my best and prayer for things to get better... Ronni Any ideas what to do for him? I'm not even totally sure I know what's wrong with him. I thought it was leaky gut with food allergies and chronic fatigue and possibly a magnesium deficiency causing the " shaky chest " feeling. Maybe I've missed something.
