Gosh - Maybe it is yeast!

My almost 4 year old ASD son has NEVER tested positive for yeast.

He's been on " the diet " for 18+ months, on tons of supplements,

probiotics, Houston enzymes, etc. We done some other yeast

treatments to see if anything " showed up " but, nothing ever

changed...so, the DAN Dr figured, no yeast.

I tried NO FENOL this week. Been wanting to try it for quite a

while because I figured - CAN'T HURT, right?

So, I started yesterday...1/16 of a teaspoon at dinner. His ears

turned bright red (never happens). And, he was SO HYPER! Didn't

fall asleep until 10pm (NOT typical for him at all!)

Today, I did 1/16 of a teaspoon at breakfast and 1/16 of a teaspoon

at dinner. OH MY GOODNESS! I don't think this child has stopped

jumping all day! LOL! He is in a good mood - had a nice session

with his ST right after breakfast. But, had a " difficult " (non

compliance and grumpy) ABA session. Didn't nap...was jumping up and

down in his crib (I know, I shouldn't have a 4 year old in a crib

still! LOL!) but had a great session with is afternoon ABA

provider. Was verbally scripting a TON, though...but, had some nice

language and good play. Then, he was BOUNCING Off the walls this

evening and his ears turned bright red again after dinner.

He had 2 mushy poops yesterday and 2 mushy poops today. He can

certainly have poop issues, but, earlier in the week he was going

normally.

Anyway...could it be? Could the NO FENOL be working that quickly

and with that small of an amount?

What should I expect moving forward? My DAN dr suggested we slowly

move to 1/4 a teaspoon before each meal, just like his other

enzymes....YIKES!
