Question for those who (used to) use Dextrostat

I am sure some of you gave your kids dextrostat. As you may or may not know, it

has been

discontinued by Shire.

What have you been using as a replacement? Have you discussed this with your

Dr.s at all?

I know the generic is available, but do not like generics as they simply just

are not the same

thing and I can tell the difference. As you may or may not know, the FDA allows

a + or -20%

difference in effectiveness from the brand name as well as a + or - 10%

difference in content

from the brand name.
