Guest guest
Lori, we have applied for and gotten approval for Vyvance from Shire patient assistance. We ended up doing all the paperwork and filling out forms (found on internet site)and then sending all to doctor for their part. Shire issued one card for a month's worth of meds and keeps putting off sending the card good for a year. I just called to ask AGAIN about it this morning. So I would try and get a number and just keep bugging the pharmaceutical if you can...it takes a least a month. But we also found that Shire was missing some info they needed to make approval, but never told me until I contacted them. Good luck, ours was very expensive too, plus we have to pay cash for doctor visits since he does not have insurance that covers those. Couldn't GET insurance for him...ADD is a " pre-existing " condition so all insurance companies said " no " they would not cover it when he left job and went back to school. So we didn't get insurance! Sue in TN > > Anybody had experience with prescription assistance that helps with Concerta? My son's Dr had him apply for the program over a month ago and we have not heard back yet. Just wondering if anyone uses this program. I bought the script last month and it was $168, so hoping this will come through. > Lori >
