Handbag Company Supports Autism!

Spunky Handbag Company introduces new charitable bag to help Autism

North Liberty, IA – Bagolitas a spunky fabric handbag company has

been helping women redefine themselves through career opportunities

or the handbags that they carry since 2005. After reaching over $1.5

million in sales, in 2007, achieving almost 300% growth, Bagolitas is

planning to reach $1.8 million in 2008 primarily through at-home

parties and the efforts of their exceptional sales team.

Bagolitas also strives to give back through fundraising efforts.

Their passion is supporting children's charities, which is increasing

with the introduction of the " Marla " bag this season to support

Autism. Each year, the 3-year-old Iowa-based company picks charities

to highlight with different purses. Fifteen percent of proceeds from

these bags support the charities. Berardi, a Bagolitas

Consultant whose daughter has autism, pitched supporting an autism

charity. Bagolitas Founder Janice Baldes agreed, and suggested naming

the bag in Marla's honor.

Bagolitas is most proud to report that their charitable efforts to

date for has provided over $60,000 in support for many wonderful

causes and looks forward to partnering with the National Autism

Association to support their Helping Hand program. Janice Baldes,
