Guest guest
I have a 15 year old daughter who has A.S. I have had nothing but bitterness and arguments about getting her a 504 and or a IEP. She is very intelligent and that is what I am told over and over again from teachers, principals, superintendents. Okay! I know, but she cannot sit and write anything which is a prompt. she has very bad handwriting, she is obsessed with Harry potter, The Beetles, or what ever the newest thing is with her, she cannot stay on task once she is home, the behaviors she has at home are not seen at school, therefore, I feel like they think I am a crazy mother! She failed gym because she will not participate, because of her clumsiness. The gym teacher has used her as an example to other students! I feel like I am going in circles... there is so much more but I feel like I have been rambling to much now. Any suggestions?
