Guest guest
Well....He did it...He got suspended today. At 3:15 I am driving down the highway to my therapy session and my phone rings......it is the Assistant Principle. OMG....Now what...he was just in in-school for spitting in his X-girlfriend's hair....he was defending his big brother who she was making fun of....so Aspie...didn't know how to handle it so he spit in her hair. Now, he called her Bi-sexual and threw a pencil at her. Now he claims he asked her if she was Bi- sexual....he claims he saw a video of her on his friend's phone kissing another girl??? And, as far as the pencil...he claims that it was on the desk and a little off the desk...he did a karate chop and it bounced up in the air and almost hit a girl. I talked to my therapist...and he did make me feel better...he said it is so typical Aspergers'. But the good thing is he was showing emotion for his friend....and he was defending him...he just didn't handle it correctly and spit in her hair. Now today I am not sure. But at church a couple of weeks ago ....he asked a girl (a friend since he was 2) if she was still a Virgin. He had seen all these nasty comments about her on MySpace and he heard kids talking about her and he wanted to tell them it was all lies. He just didn't know how to handle the situation...he just asked her. She was mortified and told him she hated him and he reacted to that....OMG. It seems things are getting worse and not better. I have taken Xbox away and the Computer. MySpace is too much for them to handle. And, girls are too much for him too! He is so mad that she broke up with him and he still likes her. He reacts more like a 5 year old rather than a 13 year old. So, this weekend he is grounded ...no phone, no friends and no going out. We will take him to church to help set up the tables on Saturday and then go to church and confirmation class on Sunday...but that is it for him. His BSC is coming tomorrow at 4 pm and his mobile therapist will be at the house on Saturday afternoon. I am so tired and stressed. Guest guest
Here in PA we don't get a Spring break....we get off for Easter...Thur.,Fri. and Monday and that is it.... And, now he tells me he is failing health....he just doesn't do the work. But he said he is catching up...do I beleive him??? Not sure. So, I am going to email his teacher. We did take away Xbox and Computer and that seems to help....although he is bored...but he is not so nasty to us. I think they cause him anxiety big time. He seems so different w/out these things. Maybe a little depressed....so i did cave in a little and let him have his computer as long as he was on it in front of his dad. And I let him have Xbox for 2 hours max. I am beginning to see how much the social scene...friends,...girlfriends...etc. are causing him a lot of anxiety.
