I'm so glad you're getting this straightened out, Tannette. I had something very similar happen to my son with his creative writing. Some of his teachers were convinced that his adventure stories showed a latent potential for violence. They were letting their imaginations run wild and telling the principal all kinds of exaggerations, unreasonable extrapolations and fabrications regarding his behavior. I think the principal was okay with everything as soon as I gave her my facts and perspective on what was going on--I went through their allegations item by item and gave my son's side and my own perception--but they ended up doing a behavioral consultation. This was 2 years ago. The school psychologist and school counselor very quickly laid it all to rest. So the teachers went on to the next thing they dreamed up was wrong with either me or my son or both--anything but autism--and life goes on...
