Guest guest
How can I get my husband to understand that the joking around he likes to do with my son is not neccesarily interpreted by my son the way he thinks it should be. He likes to jokes and will say things in a funny way like moron while he is coughing. My son responds by calling him a bad name and then my husband blows up. I try to explain why my son reacts this way and he thinks I am just siding with my son. I tell him to read about Asperger's traits but he seems to think I use it as an excuse for my sons bad behavior. My son is his stepson so it makes for very tense feelings in the house. Any thoughts on how to get him to better understand my sons problem.
Guest guest
...same thing in my house too. And it's all biological here. No matter how many times we all tell him we don't like it, he continues. Not sure what to tell you,Best, Tonya
