Guest guest
Hi, I thought it was pretty ignorant as well, but sad to say that is what I deal with every day in the real world, so on some level it isn't surprising. And like Jan said, I am not sure I have the energy to fight that battle right now. My son's issues totally exhibit themselves as a kid that doesn't listen or is defiant. On some level, I have struggled with the possibility that it is my fault for not being a better parent. I know I am not perfect, no one is, but how come my kid is having all of these issues? Autism and AS are so complex--it isn't as clear cut as Down's Syndrome or dwarfism etc and it seems like Savage is probably the type to put people with those issues down as well. in NY In , " Debra Balke " <dlbalke@...> wrote: > > No one is up in arms yet over Savage's comments?
