I agree--it is a shame to waste them. I wouldn't just trash them without trying to find someone who can legally use them. Ruth
Guest guest
Technically, the protocol is to dispense at local pharmacy for disposal since the drugs should not be introduced into the environment by regular garbage disposal or via the water system. It is irksome when one knows that these have been purchased through valid means, are expensive and someone could potentially benefit, but the harm outweighs the good. I've even offered to return directly to the pharmacy, but it is against regulation. Look at it this way: Anyone could invite you to send these to them and disperse to a child who may not be approved for medication. It is simply not a risk to take; especially when some children have predisposition to cardiac irregularities that can be exabberated with stimulant and type medications. Please do not share medication; even with the best of intentions. > > > From: Suzanne <suebeth333@...> > Subject: ( ) Daytrana patches > > Date: Sunday, February 22, 2009, 8:47 PM > > > > > > > I dont know if I am allowed to post this , but I have 7 daytrana > patches .. my son stopped using them awhile back and I would love to > send them to someone who could use them for a cheap price like 20 > bucks , they were very costly >
