Shaklee Leads Industry by Removing All Parabens From Personal Care Products STARTING NEXT MONTH

We have great news for you and your efforts to market Shaklee personal care products!

Recently, there has been a lot of consumer focus on personal care products that contain parabens — effective preservatives that have long been used to protect consumers from microbial contamination in personal care products during storage and use. Though there’s never been solid science supporting a safety concern, questions we hear from you indicate that a growing number of consumers prefer personal care products without parabens.

As a result, Shaklee has rigorously researched a safe and effective alternative to these preservatives and begun removing them from our personal care and cosmetic products.

You can look for the first of our personal care products that have been reformulated to be paraben-free - from our Enfuselle® skincare line - in August 2008, followed by products in our Minerelles® Color Cosmetic line in September 2008. The remainder of our personal care products will be paraben-free beginning fall/winter 2008.
