Well, I think this just goes to show you have to check out what resources are available in one's specific geographic area. It is different everywhere. I always ended up having conversations with the directors of the therapy centers because of the difficulties finding SLP's that were a fit, and they confirmed they have a very difficult time finding SLP's in our area. One of them said there aren't " any " . But, unlike you, we have great OT's in our area! My son's last OT was picking up on a lot more of my son's communication issues than his SLP was.
