I would recommend that you take your own transition pictures and make your own set of pecs up. It will be cheaper and he will probably really like seeing himself as the "star" of the show. You know, take pictures of him getting off the bus, putting his jacket away, washing up, snacking, watching tv, whatever it is he does to go from school mode to home mode, etc.

I used homemade pecs for potty training too when my ds was a toddler. Well, I made mine into a story using photo's of my ds going through the process. It really did help - we would read the potty book. You can find pecs/pec books on ebay by just typing "pecs" into the search box. The little guy I worked with had several pec books from ebay. Also, if he is in school here in the USA, ask to have the school make some pecs up for you. Sometimes they will be nice and make some to help with transitions at home if transition issues are part of the IEP.

( ) visual aides

Wondering if anyone has any ideas that they use for visual aides ( such as pecs)? I did get creative and made my own velcro for potty training. He puts the picture in order now and does step by step. THis really helped. He is having trouble with transitions. School to home or home to store and I think a visual aide book would help. Does anyone know where to buy these or to order them from? Thanks:)

It was a lot of work, but I made my own. I was told that 2x2 pictures

or drawings are perfect for " laminating " with packing tape. So much

cheaper than having them all laminated. I made a board with pictures

for getting ready in the morning.

You can print some pictures from www.do2learn.com.
