TIME article linking autism to Fragile X, potential drugs to treat

Did anyone else see this article in TIME magazine about Fragile X

syndrome and autism links. I was particulary interested because they

found links also in the older males in the family that caused a tremor,

sometimes called essential or familial tremor. Both of DS grandfathers

had this tremor, stepbrother has severe problems with is as well as

learning and behavioral problems. DS is mildly MR and autistic, just

like the article describes...although higher functioning.

Anyway, I found the researcher's contact info mentioned the story, will

contact him to see if any part of a study we could participate in.

Otherwise, don't know how we would get the genetic testing done.
