High school options for AS

I am still exploring options for my 13 y.o. ds(7th grade). Does anyone

have any experience of the distance learning school, Laurel Springs, or

the private school, Palo Alto Prep?

We are currently at a great public middle school, but I fear the

transition to public high school will be just too overwhelming.

We are also facing the prospect of having to move to another district,

or worse, overseas. I am hoping that doesn't happen, as we love it here.

Any comments would be appreciated.
