Guest guest
Oh my- last year my 10 year old, then 9 was at a Boy Scout camp and they were having a pretend African safari. They told the boys that they would be seeing really lions as they headed out with sticks and hats into the woods. My poor son was terrified and hiding behind people. No amount of convincing by my husband would make him sure they weren't telling the truth. Even when they saw the paper lion finally, he still as leary- looking for the real one still!Heide"Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far they can go.â€~ T.S. Date: Wednesday, March 11, 2009, 1:34 PM Last night s, 10 year old AS, ate a good size amount of baby carrots(maybe a cup and a half). My husband told my son that if he ate to many carrots he would turn orange. I guess he was being funny. I immediately told my son he was joking. My husband then tried to "explain" that if you ate a lot of carrots your skin would turn a little orange or yellow. Technically true but duh! Finally getting our kid to eat something healthy and I can totally see him now deciding not to ever eat carrots. ARGH!Vickie
