Guest guest
if only they could stay so sweet and innocent ... how sweet, him thinking the elves played his game. That's when Christmas was so magical.. when we believed Santa and his reindeer actually came into our house! ( ) and the elves I did alot of my Christmas shopping on-line this year. I purchased a Nintendo DS game (used) off Ebay. Got it for a really good price. Yoshi Island DS, has been begging for months. SO...I wrap it up and put a Xmas label that is already pre-signed by Santa and I just write . Now Christmas morning has arrived and boy oh boy the excitement. opens this gift and is so excited that he got this game. Later that morning after cleaning up the mess. gets his DS and decides to play Yoshi Island. says, "the elves have already played this game. They saved their levels." What mom didn't realize is that the person I bought the game from did not erase the game, so I tried to explain to that I had bought him that game. He told me, "you did not because the outside said it was from Santa, so the elves must of had fun and played my game." Oh to be 7 years old and that innocent again.Cori

I remember thinking that Santa came in through our baseboard heat! Can you imagine! LOL! Even though we had a chimney on our house, I knew it went to the furnace. We've had to come up with some real good explanations for our kids for years because we have no chimney or fireplace. I'm so glad The Santa Claus movie (w/ Tim ) came out so they can kind of imagine for themselves how Santa gets in. Lately, we just say it's magic. It's fun to have some that are still that innocent. gets really defensive about what has to happen on Christmas Eve for Santa. Even if it means making cookies at 8pm on Christmas Eve! AAAAHHHH! (I hadn't finished wrapping presents yet!) I have to say that the " save " regarding the elves was a great way to explain the saved data. I would have never thought of it needing to be cleared. What a special gift-the elves were playing with it and he know it! -Melinda

Guest guest
That's a good one. I don't remember thinking about how he got in............what a dork I was!!! We tell the kids that Santa has a magical key and comes in through our back door. He lands his sled in our driveway.....hee hee. We even put baby powder on the carpet (in the shape of footprints) and dribble water on the kitchen floor so it looks like the snow from his boots melted as he came in.tdhssp <johnvel@...> wrote: With no fireplace, Santa came through our hood fan over the stove! ; )> I remember thinking that Santa came in through our> baseboard heat! Guest guest
great gift. my 10yo aspie daughter has a ds and loves it. she is currently playing animal crossing. which is a cute game filled with animal like characters. you get a house and keep care of it and your yard and earn money to pay mortgage and other purchases by doing a variety of things like fishing. and with a secure " friend code " you can go into a friends town to play thru a wireless connection so they can play anytime---assuming they also have the game and a wireless connection. the other thing it has helped with is reading. because the town language is not quite english, all communication is written and needs to be read. we had an earlier game cube version when my daughter was younger and this is where it helped her reading skills. regards, melody > > if only they could stay so sweet and innocent ... how sweet, him thinking the elves played his game.
