Guest guest
Greetings: This is an interesting opinion as Rush Limbauh did this back in 2004 when he had a caller that said “I’m Borderline Asperger and I Love It!” and he made fun of him on the air. Anyone remember? This generated very little media attention outside of the AS community. FF to today. The numbers have grown, we have more online support groups and are more connected. Now look at the reaction to Mike Savage's words on the radio. Another radio show just dropped him because they said he has shown no remorse or empathy and continues to justify his actions. Hmmmm? The article: What Savage Has Done for Autism - A New and Different Point of View @ http://autism.about.com/b/2008/07/24/what-savage-has-done-for-autism-a-new-and-different-point-of-view.htm followed by a link to Stillman, an adult with autism highlighting his article: Autism: A New Cultural Competency @ http://www.basilandspice.com/mind-and-body/autism-a-new-cultural-competency.html Comments? We have come a long way baby! Have a GREAT evening
