Guest guest
> > Again, I didn't mean to offend anyone. Meds are very beneficial to some. Some are incredibly beneficial to my own family, actually. I'm just speaking of Ian. Once we took the " problem " away, he still had his other " issues " , but being medicated for hyperactivity and anger wasn't needed once he was home. You know, this is a good issue to bring up. My son is in public school, but he doesn't need meds. This despite the fact that he has been diagnosed as " emotionally fragile " and professionals are always concerned about his level of anxiety. But, his current school is good about not pushing him too hard and not treating his disabilities as behaviors. Not that there aren't other problems, as everyone knows from my other posts. But that is one thing. And it is in this environment that we have been able to progress in getting his needs met. I guess the trick would be how to tell ahead of actual enrollment what kind of school yours is. Ruth
