Guest guest Posted January 9, 2008 Report Share Posted January 9, 2008 Hi everyone, My stepson was just diagnosised with AS the end of last year, I have been trying to read everything I can to learn how to help him, he is in middle school just started this year and had to start at a new school in a new city and he is really struggling to make friends and to just fit it, It breaks my heart, I want to be able to help him more, but I can not really help in that department so I am just trying to teach him as much about AS as i can so that he can understand who he is and how special he is, He sturggles alot in school too, has a real problem staying on task and is really sturggling understanding, the school just assigned him a speical ed teacher to help him so I hope that that will start to help him, it is just so great to hear all of your stories and know that we are not alone and he is not the only one dealing with these struggles thanks guys kimberly Looking for last minute shopping deals?
